MTV Movie & TV Awards 2023: os vencedores

Os MTV Movie & TV Awards 2023 – transmitidos pela MTV Portugal na noite de 7 de maio, domingo, a partir das 01:00 (hora portuguesa) – homenagearam as maiores e mais brilhantes estrelas do cinema e da televisão, com e sem guião.

A série de sucesso The Last of Us foi a grande vencedora da noite, arrecadando três troféus: Best Show, Best Hero e Best Duo. Já Jennifer Coolidge foi homenageada com o Comedic Genius Award e também levou para casa o galardão de Most Frightened Performance pelo seu papel em The White Lotus. A par com a atriz, a série Stranger Things também recebeu dois prémios – o ator Joseph Quinn, que dá vida a Eddie Munson na série, foi o eleito na categoria Breakthrough Performance, e a qualidade do elenco foi reconhecida como Best Kick-Ass Cast.

O lema da noite foi: The show must go on! Apesar de ter sofrido algumas alterações devido à greve dos argumentistas de Hollywood, com a desistência de alguns participantes, incluindo a apresentadora Drew Barrymore, e a red carpet cancelada, a cerimónia de entrega das Golden Popcorn deu lugar a uma noite memorável, repleta de momentos surpreendentes e da confirmação do talento que predomina no pequeno e no grande ecrã.
